Flynn & O'Hara will be here from 2:00-4:00 p.m., and parents have the option of: 1) Signing the order form and return to the office by TUESDAY, May 26 and we will have your child measured and the order form will be sent back home, 2) You can come in between 3:00-4:00 to have your child measured, or 3) you may order on your own. Families may place uniform orders that day and receive free shipping.

Check Uniform Items
Once again we have requests from parents to ask that families check uniform items at their homes to make sure that what has ended up there actually belongs at that home. During the spring, especially, we have a lot of missing sweatshirts, due to cool mornings and warm afternoons. Somewhere out there is a child's size M sweatshirt with the new logo on it...If you happen to come across any item that does not belong to you, please send it in to the office. And parents, please be sure to put names in uniforms.

TALENT SHOW PRACTICE will be held on May 11 & 14. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to Ellie Johnston or Mary Laybourne. They are usually around the school first thing in the morning or you may call them at home: Ellie @ 829-8125 or Mary @ 547-2936.

Please Keep in Your Prayers...

  • Ellen Butters as she recovers from a surgery for a broken femur. She fell at home on Monday morning, had surgery on Tuesday, and is being released from UVA Hospital today. We wish her a quick recovery.
  • Kerry Terry, Mrs. Terry's daughter-in-law, who will have induced labor tomorrow morning. Kerry has had a difficult pregnancy and will be happy to finally hold her baby in her arms. This will be Mrs. Terry's 4th grandchild, and she will be happy to hold that baby, too.

Illness at Epiphany
As the frenzy of Swine Flu winds down, we must all be aware of common health practices in our everyday lives. Frequent hand washing or sanitizing with an alcohol based gel product is always your best defense. For those exhibiting flu like symptoms, especially with a fever, go to the doctor.
