Students will be outside for the majority of the day. Please make sure to:
Wear your Field Day Class Shirt with PE Shorts
Apply and Bring Sunscreen
Bring a Water Bottle with your name on it
Wear a hat
Bring a towel
Canopys tents and coolers are appreciated to borrow for the day!
Students wear their Field Day t-shirts and P.E. shorts. Sneakers - no flip-flops. Also, please do not forget sunscreen and water containers for your child! The sunscreen needs to be put on your child BEFORE your child gets to school.
1) Canopies/Awnings for much needed shade. We cannot have too much shade!
2) Fruit for all the students to snack on in between the games. The fruit needs to be cut up and ready to eat. Coolers with ice will also be needed to keep the fruit cool. Iced water will be available in the sports coolers for refills of the kids own water containers. There will also be disposable cups available if your child forgets their water bottle. I will need parents to help serve the fruit and keep it stocked as well as keeping the iced water stocked in the coolers.
3) Lunch servers/monitors.
4) Your TIME! I need parents or alumni to help with the games! There will be game stations set up for all the classes to experience.
I need the set up of the canopies/awnings, as well as the school tables and water coolers to start at 8:00 am. Those who are helping with games need to be there by 8:15 am so that I can go over each station with you.
